Quickthrust was the son of Wolfheart and Willowbranch, the brother of Talltracker and snow's beloved uncle.

When the humans attacked their tribe, a lot of elves deceased, included Wolfheart. Talltracker and Quickthrust fought then to gain the leadership of the tribe. But before any of them win, more humans were spotted and the tribe splitted in two : Talltracker left with his followers while Quickthrust left with his own little tribe. But he died not long ago they found a new holt , from the wounds he had during his challenge against his brother and he gave to Snow the leadership.

Quickthrust was wise and gentle and he was the first one to see Snow's great abilities and qualities. He was much more a father to him than Talltracker never was.
